Tana-Bana | ताना-बाना : A group therapy space for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse to weave healing together

About the Space

There are threads we carry - some torn, some tangled, some hidden deep in the folds of memory.

In this space, we hope to come together - not to fix or rush, but to gently weave what was unraveled. We bring the parts of us that were silenced, that wanted to run, that vanished to survive. We bring the parts that still ache, and the ones that haven’t yet had space to breathe.

Here, we listen. To ourselves. To each other. To the stories held in our bodies. We sit in the quiet, in the questions, in the courage of being seen.
In this circle, we co-create safety - not all at once, but stitch by stitch, story by story, breath by breath.

Like threads in fabric, we are different, and yet together, we form something strong. Something whole. Something sacred.

Welcome to Tana Bana. We are so glad to have you. You belong here.

The Facilitators

Nabonita (she/her) is a Counselling Psychologist and Narrative Practitioner with over 17 years of experience working with trauma, relationships, gender, sexuality, and emotional wellbeing. Grounded in narrative, feminist, and trauma-informed approaches, she is passionate about creating reflective spaces that foster healing, connection, and collective growth. She has been deeply involved in supporting adult survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA) as a participant, peer educator, mentor, therapist, and facilitator of survivor-led spaces - work that remains especially close to her heart. As both a survivor and therapist, she brings warmth, creativity, and a deep commitment to care in her work with individuals and communities.

Arushi (she/her) is a trauma-informed psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience and co-founder of Children’s Book For All, a community exploring children’s literature through reflective and psycho-social-emotional lenses. Based in Dharamshala, her work is rooted in grief, trauma, loss, and relational healing. As a CSA survivor, she brings an embodied understanding of healing and believes that emotions, when met with safety and presence, can guide us back to ourselves. Children’s books have been powerful companions in her journey of reclaiming joy, connection, and belonging. She is also a lover of the colour yellow, an avid birdwatcher, and a believer in everyday magic.
